Some tuning of the finer mitochondria (not a snake)
This post is of strictly training information, please read with caution. If you don't run, it may bore the crap out of you. Or you may have the crap bored out of you from it, a mental enema of sorts.
Eeeew!
Heck, it may bore the crap out of you anyway, so enjoy at your very own risk.
Yesterday, the esteemed Mr. Jarhead and the affluently English-like Mr. Capital G and I ran from the Blue Bridge, to the Grey breakwater and back, only, I didn't really. I did, but I ran first to the Green Park, to move the Green Car (within and about Green Park) then I caught up with those aforementioned colourful characters, (they being the esteemed Mrs's., J & G).
Today, it was Christopher-squared meeting at Camas and Dallas, you know, where the giant totem pole looms tall and casts a shadow all the way to Port Angeles and back.
We ran the figure 8, two mile loop at my 10k race pace, so harder, but not hurting.
6:04 on the long mile
5:57 on the regular mile for 12:01 total.
Perfect!
Then Christopher (not me, the other one) left to go enjoy his iPod. Where I played on the all weather fields:
A/B/C drills for 12 minutes.
50m easy
50m fast
50m full-boogee sprint
50m recovery
50m fast
50m full-boogee sprint
Times 2.
So times 4 really, but the very first 'easy' can't be a recovery, because I hadn't done the full-boogee sprint yet...as you can deeee deuce!!!
Rubber leggees.
Yup.
Hey, if that bored you, come back tomorrow, keep your sleeping tablets at home next to your elephantine wife in the living room.
