Wrecked

More later, but really I am devastated and crushed, (well not really).

I have no explanation for running a 3:22 marathon. My training was quite solid, good taper, lighter by about 6 pounds.

My long runs were longer, with faster finishes. I added the mid-week faster semi-long run and avoided hard speed work - to not have uber-tight hamstrings.

My mileage was consistent, averaging about 65mi per week, with most weeks over a 14 week period at 70 to 72 mi or 113-117k. Not too much mileage, but a good quantity.

Plenty of hills, almost too many hills...well I doubt there is such a thing as too many hills.

I have no explanation.
